NAD Electronics is getting ready to unveil for the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas its new products and audio accessories. One of these is the NAD IPD-1 iPod docking station, priced at around $150 but after all it's quite expensive for a simple ipod dock.
However, the NAD IPD-1 is designed to work with all NAD A/V products, and it should work with non-NAD products as well. This dock performs four functions, it sends stereo audio signals via gold plated RCA jacks, it sends video signals via S-Video from your iPod video to your A/V receiver or TV, it charges your iPod battery and it features a "meta-data" function compatible with T 775, T 785 and T 175 NAD receivers which display on your video display, remote controllable operation using the NAD illuminated learning remote control.
