CES 2008 - Philips Ambisound HTS6100 Sound Bar

Philips' HTS6100 DVD home theater system with Ambisound technology features a full, 5.1 multi-channel surround sound experience through a one-piece, fully-integrated home theater system. The HTS6100 is priced at $599, that's about $200 less than the company's HTS8100 model.

Inside the sound bar a built-in DVD player features video upscaling and HDMI Consumer Electronics Control (CEC), the system is also equipped with USB connectivity and an iPod dock to enable users to charge, play and control iPod content while it plays on the Ambisound home theater.

In addition the Ambisound system can be easily mounted on a wall underneath a Flat TV display or placed on a stand. Featuring a single, central receiver and subwoofer, there is no risk of cluttered space or tangled speaker wires and the Philips' system perfectly complements any Flat TV display.
