Sony HT-CT100 3.1-channel Home Theater System

Sony's new HT-CT100 system, is the most affordable model of the company which comprises a sound bar. This, was designed to complement high-definition televisions and Blu-ray Disc players. At 250W RMS, this 3.1 channel home theater system includes a sound bar and separate subwoofer, which delivers realistic surround sound using the S-Force PRO Front Surround Sound technology eliminating the need for rear speakers. The receiver features full HD video support and eight channels of uncompressed audio, Digital Media Port, Digital Cinema Auto Calibration (DCAC), three 1080p HDMI inputs.

The Sony HT-CT100 will be released in March for approximately $300.

My reply would be, its the easiest hook-up ever, one cable goes from the speaker to the sub and the sub plugs into the power outlet in your wall.

Two cords is a nightmare hook-up ????????

I own the Sony HT CT-100 soundbar and it took me under 10 minutes to hook-up my Epson projector, BluRay player, HD DVD player and HD cable box to it.
From out of the box to having EVERYTHNG hooked up about 10 to 15 minutes.

And it sounds GREAT !!!!!

Cheers
