The Denon S-52 wireless network music system delivers music from your computer throughout the home. This $30,000 (no it's not a mistake  ) preamp/processor incorporates a LCD screen on its front panel to provide easy and fast configuration. Including an array of analog/digital interface along with six HDMI inputs and two outputs (1080P/24Hz), the No. 502 is ready for High-Definition content. The audio processor handles Dolby and DTS surround sound while the video processor can convert all of the inputs into a single output and scale them to the optimum resolution for driving the display device.

The BASE-V20HD is the latest home theater system from Onkyo. This system doesn't include a DVD player, but a compact A/V receiver, measuring just over 20cm wide which delivers 210W power output (5x 30W +60W), supports DTS-HD Master Audio as well as Dolby True HD, has two HDMI ports and the ability to control all VIERA, AQUOS or REGZA compatible products with a single remote control. It comes with a 2.1-channel speaker system and it's expected to be available in Japan in May for will be available in Japan for something like $890.

Auzentech has announced the launch of the world's first Dolby Digital Live and DTS Connect logo certified sound card for PC, called Auzen X-Plosion 7.1 Cinema. This PCI sound card is equipped with a C-Media CMI8770 chipset, swappable OPAMPS, 7.-channel output with gold-plated connectors as well as analog and digital optical outputs. The Auzen X-Plosion 7.1 Cinema will be available next month for about $100.

The new Onkyo TX-SR606 replaces the company's best selling TX-SR605. D-Link, the networking solutions provider for consumer and business, began shipping a new kind of media player, D-Link PC-on-TV, which enables users to bring their content stored on computer hard drives to their television. PC-on-TV (DPG-1200) is ideally suited for streaming video, photos and music Wirelessly (Wifi 802.11g) from computer to TV. It supports photo viewing at 1024x768 screen resolution and streaming video at 640x480 resolution at up to 30 frames per second through composite, component or VGA video output. This media streamer is now available from D-Link's distributors for $240.

The Marantz's Cinemarium ES7001 sound bar that offers a "one-box-for-all" design approach to surround sound is now available for sale in the UK at a price of £800. This includes six speaker drivers arranged in a tweeter, midrange and woofer configuration to deliver surround sound, each one powered by a digital class-D amplifier. There are also 32-bit/96kHz digital processors with Dolby Digital and DTS decoding to generate surround sound, two HDMI v1.1 inputs and on output, three optical digital audio inputs and two stereo audio inputs.

NuForce unveiled the Icon its newest amplifier featuring 12W per-channel output (26Hz-50kHz @ 4ohm load), a 3.5-mm stereo input for connecting an iPod or other digital audio players, a USB cable for operation with a PC or Mac, and standard RCA inputs. There is also an amplified headphone output for the headphones enthusiasts and a USB D/A converter (32-48kHz, 16-bit) bring together into a convenient pocket sized format. | JVC TH-G30, TH-G40 & TH-G50 5.1 Home Theater Systems |

Amazon.co.uk has recently listed for pre-order, a new 5.1 home theater system from JVC, the TH-G30. This system comprises a progressive scan DVD receiver, five speakers and a subwoofer which provide 1000 watts of total power output. In addition, the receiver has 1080p-compatible HDMI output and up-conversion capability. The TH-G40 and TH-G50 systems comes with an iPod dock and the "Made for iPod" compliance, and they are due to hit the shelves in the next weeks.

The Yamaha TSS-20 will succeed the TSS-15 released back in late 2006. The TSS-20 is a 5.1-ch. speaker system which could be used either on a TV or a computer, and it comes with a Dolby digital/DTS/AAC decoding unit with 4 DSP modes, analog/digital inputs and a function to virtually switch on a 3.1-ch. system. The system delivers 48 watts of power; Satellite: 5x 6W, Subwoofer: 18 W. Pricing info is still unknown but it will be available in late May in Japan.
