| Kenwood to launch Ultra Limited K-Series Stereo System |

Kenwood Japan will start shipping on February 29th will sold only 50 units of these high-end stereo systems, the Kseries Silver Limited (Sound Meister Edition), which combines the R-K1 CD receiver with the LS-K1000-B speakers. The receiver has a special 11mm thick aluminium faceplate for this special series along with a high-gloss black finish for the LS-K1000-B speakers. Other features include an output power up to 2x 45W into 4Ω, built-in AM/FM tuner, Wolfson WM8740 D/A converters, Supreme EX tone quality technology to enhance sound quality and the price of this high-end thing is about $2,000.

| Kenwood new CLK-7i-S & CLK-5i-S/W Slim Stereo Systems |

The latest Kenwood's flat stereo series includes two models, the CLK-7i-S ($450 USD), CLK-5i-S and CLK-5i-W ($350 USD), the last letter stands for the color, S for silver and W for white finish. The main difference between the two models is that the CLK-5i-S/W is not equipped with an MD deck and does not display infos from CDs. The stereo is 18cm thick and has AM/FM tuner, a subwoofer output and a pair of 10Watts removable slim speakers. The top-loading CD player is compatible with CD, CD-RW, MP3 and WMA but no support of DRM protected audio files. The CLK series also has USB connection and supports almost all iPod via an optional cable "PNC - iP120". Both units come with a remote control and will be out in Japan early this month.

Kenwood is coming out with 2 new models for its "Kseries" line, the DP-K1000-N CD player and a new amplifier R-K1000-N. The receiver priced at $490 features the Supreme EX Technology, the "DPAC" (Digital Pulse Axis Control) system, an independent power supply circuit, an AM/FM tuner and the AUTO Room EQ function. The amplifier part delivers an output power of 40W + 40W (20Hz to 20kHz, 0.7%, 6 Ω) and a SNR of 120dB. Also The R-K1000-N incorporates an analog stereo input (RCA), a phono input, a coaxial and an optical digital input. Its dimensions are 270x318x99mm, its weight is approximately 5.3 kg and it comes with 2 antennas, a remote control and a microphone for AUTO Room EQ.

Kenwood extends its "Kseries" line with 2 new K1000 products, introducing the stereo amplifier R-K1000-N and a CD Player, the DP-K1000-N. Both will be available from late November. The kenwood DP-K1000-N introduces the famous "WM8740" DAC from Wolfson (SNR 117dB) and the "DPAC" (Digital Pulse Axis Control) used to reduce the jitter. Digital and analog grounds are separated to reduce the interference noise, the audio outputs are equipped with relays that cut each unused output. The player supports the playback of music CDs as well as CD-R/RW recorded in AAC/MP3/WMA, and the DP-K1000-N consumes 11W, measures 270x99x296mm, weighs 3.4kg and will cost around $350.

Kenwood unveiled its newest LS-K1000, a 2-way bass reflex speaker. This bookshelf speaker adopts an original enclosure curved on its top, made from MDF. The speaker is composed of a 12cm cone type woofer and a 2.5cm dome type tweeter that boasts a maximum input power of 80W @ 6Ω, a SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) of 85dB, a frequency response of 48Hz to 45kHz and a crossover set to 2kHz. Its dimensions are approximately 168x270x305mm and its weight is 5.2kg. Then, the Kenwood LS-K1000 is predicted to reach the market in late November for about $490.

Another new stereo system announced from Kenwood today, the R-K711 is an high-end CD receiver supporting the playback of CD-R/RW disks (MP3, WMA and AAC formats) but no support of DRM, and it gets a built-in AM/FM radio tuner. The Pre-amp section is fully digital, based on the D.P.A.C. (Digital Pulse Axis Control) circuit for a loss-less processing. The amplifier features high quality components and delivers 2x 30W (6Ω). Also a microphone includes in the package adjusts automatically the “AUTO ROOM EQ” equalizer setting to the environment in 5 types "NORMAL", "WIDE", "NIGHT", "LIVE" and "VOCAL". The Kenwood Kseries R-K711 will be available in 2 flavors, grey (R-K711-N) or black (R-K711-B) and it has been announced for $250.00 for October.

The japanese company Kenwood has announced its latest CR-A7USB, this compact stereo system is able to read MP3 files from an SD card (max. capacity: 2GB) or from an external USB memory. This player is ideal in a kitchen or in a living room with its modern and compact design 378x101x158mm for a light weight of 2.1Kg. It supports MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV formats, gets a CD-R/RW player, an AM/FM radio tuner and a liquid crystal display with the support of ID3 Tags. Also the amplifier delivers 2x 2.5W to the 2 full range drivers. Kenwood CR-A7USB will be available in two colors, blue (CR-A7USB-L) or red (CR-A7USB-S) in the Mid-October.

Kenwood Japan announced an universal wireless audio transmitter that streams your music all over your house in digital quality for a perfect reproduction. The emitter works on the 2.4GHz bandwidth and use a lossless PCM transmission. Its 2 analog inputs (an 1/8" phone jack and an USB mini-B are able to connect various equipments such as an MP3 player, a computer... And all you have to do is to just connect it to a power adapter which supplies the built-in Analog/Digital converter. The receiver has to be powered by a power adapter too. There are 2 outputs, 1x optical digital output and an analog output 'RCA) which provide you a wide choices of compatible materials. In addition if you have any interference with another wireless equipment it's possible to change the frequency channel by hand. However, there isn't any word on pricing and availability yet.
