Logitech Pure-Fi Express Portable Speakers for iPod

Logitech released the Pure-Fi Express (PF-400) which replaces the AS-50EX. The Pure-Fi Express is a portable speakers for iPod (all models except iPhone), it includes a pair of 2.5" Max-X high-excursion drivers powered by either an AC adapter (100-240 V) or 6x AA batteries. Also the dock has the ability to charge your iPod while you listen and it features a custom EQ, video output (composite), auxiliary input jack and a remote control.

It retails for €79 and carries a 2-year warranty.

Logicool aka Logitech Launches the LS11 & LS21 Computer Speakers

On April 18th, Logicool (aka Logitech) will launch new computer speaker systems including the LS11, a basic 2.0-channel stereo speaker kit and the LS21 (pictured), which adds a subwoofer. Both models employ the same satellite speakers with 50mm fullrange drivers self-powered by a 1.5W per channel amplifier and the subwoofer includes in the LS21 utilizes a 95mm woofer. Also the LS21 model includes a wired remote with volume control, power switch and a headphone output.

Prices are about $40 for the LS21 and $20 the LS11, respectively.

Logitech's Squeezebox Duet is a handheld receiver that uses 802.11g to wirelessly stream music throughout your house. The Duet is platform friendly, running on Macs, PCs and Linux machines and handling a buttload of non-DRM file formats, including Apple Lossless, FLAC, WMA Lossless as well as MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, MP2, MusePack and WMA. The controller's 2.4-inch color LCD lets you browse your music library using a scroll-wheel along with sensitive buttons.

The Squeezebox Duet "network music system" comes with both receiver and controller for $400 and a two-year warranty, and will be available in the US and Europe this month. Additional receivers will cost $150 and additional controllers $300.

Tech Digest got its hands on the exclusive 2.1 speakers kit from Logitech which will be normally unveiled in the following days at the CES. The Logitech Z Cinéma contains two bass-reflex satellite speakers (each containing a three-inch laser-tuned driver), a subwoofer (with an eight-inch high-excursion driver) and complete control pod (aka, remote control).

According to Logitech, this 2.1-channel system is perfect for any PC or Mac with at least a six-channel sound card, and contains SRS TruSurround HD, which will give you a surround sound effects with only two satellites. Out at the end of January, the system is priced at £249.99.
